Military factory to use SYMBIONA technologies

Symbiona is delivering design & build contract for military explosives plant with very high COD and TN  (>4000mg/l) wastewaters.

This job, preceded by long R&D works will bring to the customer added value by securing their ability to wastewater discharge.

Project technology uses multiple treatment techniques, including:

  • Chemical neutralization of very low alkalinity (PH<~1) wastewater;
  • Physical-chemical treatment of SO4 rich wastewater
  • Biological treatment
  • AOP – advanced oxidation of non-biodegradable COD
